Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges

Under the No Surprises Act (HR133, Title 45, Section 149.610) you have the right to receive an estimate for how much your medical care will cost. This law applies to those who do not have insurance or are choosing to not use their insurance to pay for services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) to document the expected costs of all non-emergency services. Upon request, your provider will provide a GFE within 1 one business day before your next scheduled appointment. You can also request this GFE at any time before you schedule with your provider. If you receive a bill larger than $400 you can dispute said bill. If you request a copy of your GFE please retain it for your personal records.
